The Nick Baker Trio is a very special 60s-era band. Formed in Salt Lake City in the 1960s by three teenage boys, the garage band echoed the tumultuous times and changes happening around them. Jim and his brother Don moved from Salt Lake City for the east coast, taking a binder of their songs with them. Packaged away in storage for close to 40 years, these songs were a time capsule of the life and times of three boys growing up in Salt Lake City, all put to music heavily influenced by the birth of rock and roll.
Jim Potter and NB3 approached Wellfire Interactive to create an online presence to tell their story and showcase their debut album, "Full Circle," written in the 60s and recorded in 2006, along with Jim's book of the same name, which told these songs' stories. Basing the site on an instance of Wordpress for ease of updating news and blog posts for the band, Wellfire designed the site to reflect the age and innocence of the music and band. Launched in the summer of 2006, NB3music.com has brought these wonderful songs and story to public light on the internet. During the active marketing phases of NB3's ad campaign, the site saw an average of 150 new and returning visitors per month.
