If the medium is the message then the interface is the product. A great interface is more than pretty packaging. It makes the difference between productivity and drudgery, delight and disappointment.

Web applications

We design and develop web applications. Naturally we design and develop interfaces for web applications.

Typically we design interfaces for the same bespoke applications we develop for our customers, but the range of web applications our customer have is wider than that. Using your existing application code or API hooks, we can create clean, usable interfaces for even the kludgiest of business applications.

Prototyping

Prototyping comes in several flavors, from nothing more than interactive wireframes to functional applications with only the most features. It’s an important step in pitching an early stage product and getting real feedback on how it should work.

Prototyping is an important part of the development process, but may be a mini-project in and of itself before the full budget is allocated. This is especially pertinent to projects with investor funding or organic customer funding.

Desktop applications

The standalone desktop app is far from dead. The typical business application’s interface is pretty close to it, though.

We’ve lent the same expertise we’ve built in web application interfaces to help improve clients’ commercial desktop applications, and we can do the same for your application, from reskinning to redefining interface layout and workflow.

Visualizations

Understanding and presenting data in a visually effective way requires both design skill, analytic ability, and the right programming chops.
